The increasing need for precise surface preparation techniques in diverse industries has spurred considerable investigation into laser ablation. This study directly compares the efficiency of pulsed laser ablation for the elimination of both paint films and rust oxide from metal substrates. We noted that while both materials are prone to laser abla
